CLARA CITY -- Kelly Swenson scored 20 points as Dawson-Boyd came from behind in the second half to claim a 60-57 win over MACCRAY in Camden North girls basketball action Friday.
The Wolverines trailed 16-5, but closed the gap to four points, 25-21, on a three-point shot by Ashley Beseman at the first-half buzzer.
MACCRAY led by as many as 10 points in the second half, but the Blackjacks rallied for a 58-57 lead. With nine seconds left, MACCRAY had the ball but turned it over. Charlotte Bergeland made two free throws for the final margin.
Ashley Alsum led MACCRAY with 16 points and Beseman added 10 points and eight rebounds.
Nikki Swenson finished with 11 points for Dawson-Boyd and Heather Voss nine. Kelly Swenson also grabbed nine rebounds.
