DAWSON — Dawson-Boyd Public Schools will have an operating levy to replace one that is expiring.
Voters approved the $640 per pupil operating levy with 381 voting in favor and 149 voting against, according to unofficial results.
The 10-year levy will replace an expiring $270 per pupil levy. The current levy brings in $170,000 a year to help pay for district operations. The new levy would bring/would have brought in another $115,000.
