PAYNESVILLE -- Delmar R. "Buddy" Brossard, 82, of Paynesville, died Saturday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Louis Catholic Church in Paynesville. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Daniel-Anderson Funeral Home in Paynesville with parish prayers at 8 p.m. and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
He was born June 28, 1926, in Eden Lake Township, Stearns County, to Oscar and Ida (Liestman) Brossard.
He married Fran Lang on Aug. 11, 1945, in Paynesville. They lived in Paynesville where he worked as a blacksmith for Alfred Louis, a foreman at Koronis Mill Turkey Farm for 20 years, housekeeping at the Paynesville Area Hospital and at Roger's TV Shop. He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Paynesville.

He is survived by his wife; children: Roger (and Dorothy) Brossard of Paynesville, Curtis (and Nancy) Brossard of Alta Loma, Calif., and Nancy (and Herb) Mueller of New London; nine grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death eight brothers and sisters.
