MONTEVIDEO -- Dennis Calvin Ward, 48, of Montevideo died Friday at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Watson Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo, with a 7 p.m. prayer service.

He was born June 2, 1959, in Plattsmouth, Neb., to Elmer and Carole (Mead) Ward. The family moved to Montevideo in 1969.
He married Barbara Hoff on Sept. 16, 1989, in Watson. They lived in the Montevideo area. He worked at Friendship Homes for 20 years and at American Surplus for the last five years.
He was a member of the rescue squad for several years.
He is survived by his wife; his parents of Montevideo; three brothers: Larry of Montevideo, William (and Julie) of Virginia Beach, Va., and James (and Doris) of Maple Grove; three sisters: Julia Eckhoff of Maple Plain, Cathy (and Scott) Olson of Battle Lake, and Shelley (and Terry) Hubble of Montevideo.
