DARWIN -- Dennis Mathais Hurley, 87, of Darwin, died Friday at Dassel Lakeside Home.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of St. John in Darwin. Military honors will be provided by the Admiral Benson VFW Post #2818 of Litchfield. Burial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Darwin.
Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield, with a prayer service at 5:30 p.m.

He was born Jan. 24, 1920, in Ellsworth Township to Dennis M. and Emily E. (Nelson) Hurley. He farmed on the family homestead. He served in Europe during World War II. He was a lifelong member of the Church of St. John and of the Admiral Benson VFW post.
He is survived by a niece, a nephew, two grandnieces and four grandnephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
