RENVILLE -- Dennis Roderick Listrud, 72, of Renville died Tuesday at his daughter's home in Renville.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church in Renville. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Renville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Dirks-Blem Funeral Home in Renville and for one hour prior to the service at the church.

He was born June 19, 1934, in Sacred Heart to Olaf Melborne and Gertrude Laura (Huseby) Listerud. He grew up in the Sacred Heart area. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
He married Shirley Hammer on Aug. 31, 1974. They lived in the Renville area for many years. He owned and operated many restaurants in a number of communities. He was a professional painter and also worked for Southern Minnesota Beet Sugar Cooperative in Renville for 20 years.
He had several bands, including the Big D Band.
He is survived by his children: Kimberly Listrud, Linda (and Larry) DeRungs, all of Renville, Dennis Listrud Jr., Mark Listrud (and Heather Holderness), Bill Hendrickson, all of Minneapolis; and seven grandchildren; and two sisters: Darlene Gahm of Willmar and Irene Oftedahl of San Clemente, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his wife; stepson: George A. Peterson; one grandson; four brothers; and one sister.
