WILLMAR -- A detour begins today on Kandiyohi County Road 41, north of Willmar, as con-struction crews finish a road project that was started last year.
The detour on County Road 41, sometimes referred to as the radio station road, extends from the north junction of county road 24 to county road 25.
Through traffic on county road 41 will be diverted east onto county road 24, north on state Highway 71 and west on county road 25.
Construction is scheduled to be complete on or before Aug. 1.
Duininck Inc. of Prinsburg, Minnesota, is the prime contactor and Thielen Construction Com-pany Inc. of Eden Valley, Minnesota is subcontractor for grading operations of the Project.

Meanwhile, final construction on the south section of county roads 41 and 24 will be com-pleted under traffic.
Motorists are reminded to slow down for their safety and the safety of the workers as con-struction continues.
