BENSON — The Minnesota Department of Transportation will close and detour traffic at Minnesota State Highway 29 and U.S. Highway 12 beginning June 28 to accommodate railroad repairs.
The detour will route traffic to 13th Street South and Atlantic Avenue.
The work is planned to last five days as railroad crews repair the crossing, weather permitting.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, and reminds them to slow down in the work zone and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
