DeWind Company begins service work on Willmar wind turbines

WILLMAR - Technicians from wind turbine supplier DeWind Company will be cleaning and servicing Willmar Municipal Utilities’ two wind turbines over the next two weeks.
The servicing period began Monday and will run through approximately Oct. 10, said Jon Folkedahl, supervisor of electrical production at Willmar Utilities.
According to Folkedahl, one or both of the turbines will be stopped periodically throughout the cleaning and servicing process.
