n Mitchell Brooks Quimby, 29, of Atwater made his first appearance Friday on a charge of first-degree criminal damage to property. A warrant was issued for Quimby's arrest after he failed to appear in court on July 10.

Judge Kathryn Smith released Quimby on his own recognizance and another court appearance was scheduled for Aug. 4. Quimby was charged for allegedly throwing three full soda cans through the window of the Jerry Wolf residence in Willmar after a fight between Brandon Quimby and Joey Wolf. The fight ensued after Joey Wolf requested payment of $50 owed by Brandon Quimby to Joey Wolf. Repair was estimated at $237.72.

- Jorge Alberto Ibarra-Saenz, 28, of Willmar was sentenced Friday after pleading guilty on July 7 to two counts of aggravated forgery. Five other charges of forgery, aggravated forgery, giving a peace officer a false name, restrictions on taking fish and fishing without a license were dismissed.

Judge Donald Spilseth stayed a one-year and one-day prison sentence and gave Ibarra-Saenz credit for serving 53 days in jail. The defendant was charged June 5 after two Department of Natural Resources conservation officers investigated a report on June 3 of two individuals taking multiple northern pike from Foot Lake.
