- Alicia Ann Myers, 20, of Windom, was arraigned Tuesday on a felony charge of receiving stolen property for possessing a stolen vehicle.

Unconditional bail was set at $10,000 and conditional bail at $5,000 or $500 cash. Her next appearance is Nov. 17.

According to the complaint, a Willmar police officer was dispatched on Sunday to the 1600 block of Ninth Street Southwest to investigate a stolen vehicle. The officer noted that the vehicle, a 2007 Chevy Aveo, was parked in front of the home. The vehicle had been reported stolen on Oct. 24.

Myers said she took her mother's car, with permission, to come to Willmar for a few days with her boyfriend. She admitted that a friend in Redwood Falls had advised her that the car was reported stolen. She was arrested on the local charges and charges of motor vehicle theft and theft by swindle in Cottonwood County.

- Steven Tood Huston, 17, of Willmar, made his first appearance Monday on a felony charge of third-degree criminal sexual conduct for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl.

He pleaded not guilty and was ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim. His next appearance is Dec. 18.

According to the petition, on Oct. 7 the Willmar Police officer who serves as the Willmar Senior High resource officer was informed that a 15-year-old girl was having sex with Huston. When interviewed, the girl admitted to the relationship, said they had sex at Robbins Island and at the Alternative Learning Center and that he knew she was 15 years old.
