BENSON -- Donald Bennie Olson, 72, of Benson died Sunday at Swift County-Benson Hospital.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Benson. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the church and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson.

He was born May 25, 1934, in Benson to Bernhard and Sophia (Fossen) Olson. He grew up in Benson and attended Southside School through the eighth grade. He operated the Southside Pool Hall.
He married Penny Mann on Feb. 7, 1959. Penny died in 1991. He worked for the city of Benson Street Department until 1971, and then was self-employed as a handyman. He worked in maintenance and cleaning at Sandy's Café and cut grass.
He is survived by his children: Randy Olson, Richard Olson, Sheryl (and Brian) Madden, all of Benson; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and special friend: Karol Knoblauch.
He was preceded in death by his wife, one great-granddaughter, six sisters and two brothers.
