ORTONVILLE -- Donald Frank Nolting, 66, of Ortonville died Saturday at his home.
The service is at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Abiding Faith Free Lutheran Church in Ortonville. Burial will be in Artichoke Cemetery, rural Ortonville.
Visitation is at the church Tuesday evening, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue Wednesday for one hour before the service. Arrangements are with the Eggers Funeral Home in Rosholt, S.D.
He was born June 3, 1941, in Graceville to Peter and Edith (Sundberg) Nolting. He attended country school and graduated from Ortonville High School in 1959. After graduation he farmed and worked at the Big Stone Canning Factory, Huisinga Farms, Roseland Elevator and Pepsi Co.

On Jan. 3, 1970, he married MaryAnn Siewert in Correll. He was a member of the Western Prairie Farm Collectors Club, spent many years on the Prairie Five Board and was a charter member of Abiding Free Lutheran Church in Ortonville.
He is survived by his wife; five children, Angela (and Daniel) Bowen of Milbank, S.D., Kimberly (and Timothy) Danielson of Ortonville, Sandra (and Kurt) Lahr of Avon, S.D., Barbara (and Jon) Hoffman of Watertown, S.D., and Daniel (and Ashlie) Nolting of Appleton; 10 grandchildren; three sisters, Donna (and Alfred) Roeder of Ortonville, Grace (and David) Hamner of Clinton and Lillian (and Curtis) Ulven of Montevideo; and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
