STARBUCK -- Donald John Nelson, 82, of Starbuck died Monday at Glacial Ridge Hospital in Glenwood.
The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Benson. Burial will be at the Benson City Cemetery.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Arrangements are with Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson.
He was born Dec. 3, 1924, in Benson to Nels and Alice (Holm) Nelson. H e graduated from Barrett High School. The family lived in Barrett and returned to Benson in 1966. He was born with cerebral palsy and attended the Michael Douling Crippled Childrens School for two years. He moved to the Starbuck Nursing Home in 1992, and attended church.

He is survived by several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
