RENVILLE -- Donald Norman Treichler, 85, of Renville died Thursday at his home in Renville.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Danube. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Renville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Dirks-Blem Funeral Home in Renville and for one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.
He was born Dec. 5, 1922, in Dent to Herman and Erna (Schmidt) Treichler. They moved to Renville in 1931 and he attended District 75 Country School in Crooks Township.

He farmed in partnership with his brother, Melvin, northeast of Renville for many years. In 2003, he moved into Danube. In 2007, he moved to Crossroads in Renville.
He was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Danube.
He is survived by his sisters: LaVerne Farmen of Sauk Rapids and Marie (and Donald) Klein of Robbinsdale; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
