DAWSON -- Dorothy Jane Bolstad, 75, of Dawson died Monday at Johnson Memorial Home in Dawson.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church in Dawson.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Hanson & Dahl Funeral Home in Dawson, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
She was born Oct. 16, 1930, in Garfield Township, rural Madison, to William and Amy (McCaskey) Hoyles. She graduated from Madison High School, attended and and graduated from St. Barnabas School of Nursing in Minneapolis.

She married Joseph Bolstad on Nov. 30, 1952, in Dawson. She was a nurse at the Dawson Hospital and Madison Lutheran Home for 47 years. She moved to Johnson Memorial Home Feb. 24.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Dawson, served in Bible study, ladies circle, was a church elder for many years, and served as the equivalent of a parish nurse. She was a 4-H leader for many years.
She is survived by her husband; children: Bruce of Dawson, Jeff (and Mary Jo) of Cedar Hills, Texas, Marcia (and Asif) Akhter of Roseville, James of Colorado Springs, Colo., Michael (and Janelle) of Ocean Springs, Miss.; and her siblings: Dennis (and Bonnie) Hoyles of Marietta, Marion Thompson, and Dolores (and Harold) Windingstad of Dawson.
She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
