STARBUCK -- Dorothy M. Aaberg, 76, of Starbuck died Thursday at Glacial Ridge Hospital in Glenwood.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Minnewaska Lutheran Home in Starbuck. Burial will be at Minnewaska Lutheran Cemetery in rural Starbuck.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hoplin Funeral Home in Glenwood, with a prayer service at 6 p.m., and for one hour prior to the service at Minnewaska Lutheran Home.

She was born May 13, 1930, on a farm west of Starbuck to Hans and Claira (Dokken) Aaberg. She was born with cerebral palsy. She attended grade school in Benson and lived in Benson until her parents died. She moved to Glenwood in 2004 and to the Minnewaska Lutheran Home in Starbuck in 2006.

She was a member of Redeemers Lutheran Church in Benson.

She is survived by her siblings: Florence Swenson of Starbuck, Ruby (and Ervin) VanKempen of Starbuck, Warren (and Eleanor) Aaberg of Starbuck, Bernice Cretilli of Glenwood, Norman (and Shirley) Aaberg of Blaine.

She was preceded in death by five siblings.
