CLARA CITY -- Dorothy Tebben Ordahl, 69, of Worthington and formerly of Clara City, died Friday at Sunset Cottage in Worthington.

The service will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Assembly of God Church in Willmar. Private family burial will be at Bethany Reformed Cemetery in Clara City.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Harvey Anderson Funeral Home Clara City Chapel. There will be no reviewal at the church before the service.

She was born May 7, 1938, in Clara City to Harry and Ella (Eckhoff) Doesken. She attended Chippewa County District 83 School for her elementary education and graduated from Kerkhoven High School in 1956.

She married Harlan Tebben on April 23, 1957, in Clara City. They lived in the Clara City area where she worked as a receptionist for VSC, then as the bookkeeper for Clara City Fertilizer Association for 20 years, continuing with the fertilizer department at CENEX, retiring in the late 1990s. Harlan died in 1982.

She married Douglas Ordahl on Oct. 4, 1997, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Clara City. They lived in Clara City. Douglas died in 2001. Dorothy continued to live in Clara City until she moved to Worthington in November 2005.

She was a member of the Assembly of God Church of Willmar, had been a Sunday school teacher and was active with the women's ministries, serving as president for a time. She had served on the Chippewa County Welfare Board, County Library Board, County Mental Health Board and Caregivers Group.

She is survived by her children: Laurie (and Kevin) Wolfswinkel of Sibley, Iowa, Mark (and Cindy) Tebben of Maple Grove, and Roxanne Tebben of Willmar; step-children: Jennifer (and Mike) Rhode of Burnsville, and Kyle (and Amy) Ordahl of Savage; nine grandchildren; and sisters: Luella (and Don) Young of Benson, and Mary (and Ervin) Ahrenholz of Clara City.

In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death one sister.
