CLARKFIELD -- Dorothy Vernetta Nikolaisen, 85, of Clarkfield died Sunday.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Clarkfield Lutheran Church. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are by the Lynner Funeral Home in Clarkfield.
She was born July 30, 1922, in Clarkfield to Carl and Emma (Knutson) Larson. She attended District 29 School. She graduated in 1941 from Clarkfield High School.
She married Merle Nikolaisen on Jan. 1, 1944. They lived on a farm south of Clarkfield. They moved into Clarkfield in 1986.

She is survived by her husband; two children: Jerry (and Pat) of Clarkfield and Julie (and Jim) Friberg of Menomonie, Wis.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 11 siblings.
