GRANITE FALLS -- Douglas Alfred Peterson, 73, of Granite Falls died Thursday at his residence.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Upper Sioux Community Center. Burial will be at Doncaster Cemetery in Granite Falls.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Wing-Bain Funeral Home in Granite Falls, and from Sunday evenging to the time of the service on Monday at the Upper Sioux Community Center.
He was born March 8, 1933, to Elijah and Amelia (Blue) Peterson.

He married Beverly Diver on May 7, 1994, in Granite Falls.
He is survived by his wife; children: Jason (and Teresa) Peterson of Belview, Donna Korstad of Granite Falls, Carrie Marks of Marietta, Ga.; stepson: Russ Diver of Granite Falls; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one sister: Laurel (and Horacio) Carlson of Granite Falls.
He was preceded in death by one son: Douglas; one sister and one brother.
