LITCHFIELD -- Douglas Robert Olson, 50, of Litchfield died Monday at Meeker County Memorial Hospital in Litchfield.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Beckville Lutheran Church in Litchfield.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
He was born Dec. 3, 1956, in Litchfield to Robert and Evelyn (Burress) Olson. He grew up and received his education in Litchfield. He worked as a truck driver and for Poly Dome.

He is survived by his children: Adam Olson of Dassel, Luke Olson of Anchorage, Alaska, Kelly Sharstrom of Hutchinson; one granddaughter; his parents: Evelyn (and Richard) Lemke of Litchfield, Robert Olson of South Dakota; special friend: Steph Johnson of Litchfield; siblings: Gary Olson (and Darlene Lambert) of Litchfield and Carol Campas of Lake Geneva, Wis.; two stepbrothers: Les (and Mary) Lemke of Watertown, S.D., Al (and Char) Lemke of Litchfield; and one stepsister: Dawn (and Jerry) Weyrach of Litchfield.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
