GRANITE FALLS - The FedEx truck driver injured in a collision on Friday afternoon with a Burlington Northern Santa Fe freight train remains in critical condition.
Chad Borka, 46, of Atwater, remains at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, where he was airlifted after the accident, according to the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Department.
Borka was driving a FedEx truck that collided with a train south of Granite Falls at the rail line crossing with Yellow Medicine County Road 39 around 2 p.m.
He was transported to the Granite Falls Hospital before being airlifted.

The conductor and engineer were the only people on the train. Both were uninjured.
