PENNOCK – The drivers of two vehicles were injured in a crash Wednesday night west of Willmar, near Pennock.

The accident was reported at 8 p.m. on U.S. Highway 12 in Mamre Township, near Kandiyohi County Road 7.

According to the State Patrol, 2000 Dodge Intrepid, driven by Emalea Anne Edberg, 17, of Murdock, was going west on Highway 12 when a 2005 Ford Five Hundred, driven by Abdi Matan Mohamed, 59, of Willmar, pulled out from a driveway and crossed in front of the Dodge.

Edberg and Mohamed were taken to Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol.
