WILLMAR -- Drivers in west central Minnesota are urged to drive carefully as road conditions change throughout the day today.
According to MnDOT, U.S. Highway 12 from Benson to Kerkhoven is in fair driving condition, with the roadway treated for ice. Drivers are cautioned to look out for freezing rain.
From Grove City into Wright County, conditions are also fair. Drivers are asked to look out for icy patches and expect blowing snow later in the day.
Road conditions on U.S. Highway 212 and State Highway 7 are listed in fair condition with icy patches and blowing snow.
The National Weather Service urges drivers to be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities and to use caution while driving.
