The 42-year-old victim was taken by ambulance to Rice Memorial Hospital.

Willmar Police arrested a suspect, age 23, who is in custody at the Kandiyohi County Jail. Willmar Police said criminal charges may be filed.

According to police, the confrontation apparently began as a verbal argument between two neighbors over a parked car that was allegedly blocking part of a driveway at a home on Mary Avenue. A third neighbor, the stabbing victim, then joined the argument and, according to the police report, the dispute became physical.
