LAKE LILLIAN -- Dwayne Roscoe Garberich, 83, of Lake Lillian died Thursday at Bethesda Heritage Nursing Home in Willmar.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Svea Lutheran Church in Svea. Burial will be at the Community Cemetery in Lake Lillian.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at K-M Funeral Home in Lake Lillian and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
He was born May 13, 1923, on the family farm in East Lake Lillian Township to George and Ella (Christie) Garberich. He attended country school through the eighth grade.

He married Marion Harding on Oct. 11, 1945. They lived on the farm by Blomkest and were foster parents to about 30 children. He was a farmer for many years and then worked in carpentry. Marion died and he retired from farming. He was with Beulah Oslund for 15 years. Beulah died in 2005. He moved to Sunnyview Assisted Living in Atwater and then to Bethesda Heritage Nursing Home in Willmar.
He attended Svea Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his family: Brent (and Jolene) Garberich of Atwater, Kurt Garberich of Lake Lillian, Janice (and Bill) Wadsworth of New London, Keith (and Dawn) Oslund of Blomkest, Kevin (and JoAnn) Oslund of Oakview, Calif., Paulette (and Lynn) Ascheman of Blomkest, Patty (and Joe) Wrobleski, Kenneth (and Jill) Oslund, all of Lake Lillian; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and his siblings: Earl (and Sarah) Garberich, Leona Schroeder, Evelyn Rice, and Inez Skucius.
He was preceded in death by his wife; special friend: Beulah Oslund; daughter: Becky, an infant child; one grandson; daughter-in-law: Shelly Garberich, son-in-law: Larry Reigstad; and his siblings.
