WILLMAR -- Eddie R. Rasmussen, 96, of Willmar died Friday at his home on Solomon Lake.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Covenant Church in Willmar. Burial will be at Cloverleaf Cemetery in Willmar.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar, and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.

He was born March 28, 1910, in rural Pennock to Hans Peter and Ida (Croonquist) Rasmussen. He grew up and attended school in the Pennock area.
He married Harriett Melin on Oct. 18, 1930. They lived and farmed in Dovre Township. Harriet died in 1991. He lived on the farm and later moved to Rice Care Center. He returned to his home more than a year ago.
He was a member of First Covenant Church in Willmar.
He is survived by his grandson: Steven (and Debbie) Friedlein of Willmar; two great-grandchildren; and one sister: Eleanor Dahlen of Irvine, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his wife; daughter: Joyce; son-in-law: Ralph Friedlein; five brothers; and one sister.
