EDEN LAKE TOWNSHIP -- An Eden Valley woman was treated and released from St. Cloud Hospital Friday after rolling her pickup into a power pole in Eden Lake Township.
Michelle Lynnea Bischof, 39, of Eden Valley was driving her blue 1997 Ford F-150 on Stearns County Road 9 when she lost control of the truck around 11:15 a.m. Friday near the County Road 21 intersection. After her truck spun out into the right ditch and through a fence, the vehicle vaulted into the air doing a barrel roll and severed a power pole. Bischof's truck landed in a pasture on the driver's side of the vehicle.
According to a news release from the Stearns County Sheriff's Office, Bischof was wearing a seatbelt, and Eden Valley Fire and Rescue had to cut off the roof of the pickup to get Bischof out. Bischof was transported to St. Cloud Hospital by Watkins Ambulance.
Stearns Electric repaired the downed power pole and returned power to the area.
