Senate District 14 is a race between DFL challenger Paul Stacke and GOP incumbent Michelle Fischbach. It is a race of a radio broadcaster and an experienced legislator.
Stacke is an longtime St. Cloud radio broadcaster. He has political experience on the St. Cloud City Council. He has struggled some in this campaign.
Fischbach has served 10 years in the Minnesota Senate. We are concerned about some of her rigid conservative stances on social issues. However, she is an experienced candidate and she plans to focus on health care reform.
The West Central Tribune endorses Fischbach for re-election in Senate District 14.
