ALEXANDRIA -- Edna Lillian Miller, 89, of Alexandria died Sunday at Clearwater Suites in Alexandria.
The service was held Wednesday at the Grace Lutheran Church in Belview. Burial was held in the Grace Lutheran Cemetery in Belview.
Arrangements are with the Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria.
She was born April 2, 1918, to Christian and Tobina (Iverson) Kortgard. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School.

She married LaVerne Miller on Dec. 25, 1938, in Sacred Heart. They farmed near Belview until their retirement in 1979. They moved into Belview in 1991. They spent their winters in southern Texas from 1967 to 2002. LaVerne died in 2003 and she moved to Windmill Ponds in Alexandria. She moved to Clearwater Suites in 2006.
She served on community clubs in Belview and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
She is survived by three children: Janice (and Leroy) Flaata of Garfield, Karen (and Bruce) Rudy of Alexandria and Michael (and Alice) Miller of Ramsey; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a sister: Stella Miller of Renville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother and two sisters.
