WILLMAR -- Edna Louise Onnen, 88, of Willmar, died Sunday, at the Scandia House in Willmar.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Vinje Lutheran Church in Willmar. Burial will be at a later date in the Fairview Cemetery in Willmar.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar and one hour prior to the service at the church.
She was born Aug. 27, 1919, in Clara City to Conrad and Elsie (Fischer) Tebben. She grew up on the family farm near Clara City and graduated from Clara City High School in 1937.

She married Kenneth Onnen on March 16, 1940, in Clara City and they lived on a farm near Priam. She worked as a school cook at the Priam School.
They moved into Willmar in 1960 and she worked at Bethesda Heritage Center for 32 years as a nursing assistant. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Raymond and had been a member of Vinje Lutheran Church since 1960.
She is survived by her children: David Onnen of Little Canada, Doris (and Charles) Iversen of Detroit Lakes, Connie Feig of Raymond, Karen (and John) Berner of Golden Valley and Lori (and Michael) AhTou of Northbrook, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; and six step-great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1990 and two sisters.
