GRANITE FALLS -- Edna Lucille "Zip" Olson, 90, of Granite Falls died Tuesday at the Granite Falls Municipal Hospital, following a brief illness.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Wing-Bain Funeral Home Chapel in Granite Falls. A private burial will be at Hersey Cemetery, near Brewster.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
She was born Dec. 14, 1915, in Worthington to Dick and Selma (Salstrom) Manuel. She grew up in the Brewster area.

She married Russell W. Olson on Jan. 16, 1937. They lived in Brewster and then moved to Granite Falls in 1943. She assisted her husband in operating the Ben Franklin Store in Granite Falls for many years. Russell died in 1984. She moved to Fieldcrest Assisted Living in Cottonwood.
She was a member of the Granite Falls Country Club.
She is survived by her daughter: Connie (and Merlin) Legler of Grand Island, Neb.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Elaine Borchard of Phoenix, Ariz., and Nona Anderson of Hartford, Mich.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother.
