WILLMAR -- Edward William Davis, 70, of Willmar died Thursday at his home.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Church of St. Mary in Willmar. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Willmar.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with Knights of Columbus Rosary at 8 p.m., at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials are preferred to the American Heart Association, Minnesota Ducks Unlimited Greenwing Association, West Central Tribune's Newspapers in Education program or Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center Youth Firearms Training Program.
He was born May 29, 1937, in Aberdeen, S.D., to Everett and Mildred (Pugsley) Davis. He graduated from Worthington High School and attended junior college in Worthington and graduated from South Dakota State University in Brookings, S.D.
She married Carolyn Pomerenke on Aug. 30, 1957. They moved to Willmar where they opened Ed Davis Business Machines in 1962.

He was a member of the Church of St. Mary and the Knights of Columbus. He was a supporting member of Ducks Unlimited, Pheasants Forever and the Rocky Mountain Elks Foundation.
He is survived by his wife; four children: Todd (and Julie) Davis, Kirk (and Barb) Davis, Cari (and Jim) Kardell, all of Willmar, and Scott Davis of Kandiyohi; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three siblings: Dick Davis of Mankato, Linda (and Daryle) von Holdt of Hartford, S.D., and Larry (and Sharon) Davis of Worthington.
