WILLMAR -- Elizabeth Leona Hansen, 91, of Willmar died Tuesday at Bethesda Heritage Center.

The service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Willmar. Burial will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Springfield.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.

She was born May 24, 1914, in Springfield to John and Otilla (Mueller) Kaseforth. She grew up on the family farm near Springfield, and attended country schools.

She married Stanley W. Hansen on Sept. 5, 1935, in Springfield. They farmed his uncle's farm near Evan for four years and then his mother's farm in Brookfield Township for one year. They purchased a farm near Wabasso in 1941. They moved to New Ulm in 1963, and then to Willmar in 1966. She worked as a lab technician at Willmar Soil Testing and Willmar Chemical. Stanley died in 1997.

She was active in her church while in Wabasso, New Ulm and Willmar. She was also a former 4-H leader and active in various community functions.

She is survived by her son: Gary Hansen of Columbia Heights; and two sisters: Viola Johanson of Montevideo and Lillian (and Alvin) Schiller of New Ulm.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one sister and two brothers.
