RAYMOND -- Ellsworth Frederick Scheeler, 65, of Raymond, died Wednesday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar following an extended illness.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Raymond.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with the Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar.
He was born Jan. 25, 1943, in Dickinson, N.D., to Raymond and Barbara (Korang) Scheeler. The family moved to Hillman and then Swanville where he completed his education.
He married Barbara Valerie Stewart in 1969. They lived in various places in central Minnesota and moved to Raymond in 1987. He worked for over 20 years for Prinsburg Service Oil Company, retiring in 2004 because of poor health.

He is survived by his children: Nick Scheeler of Raymond, Kristina (and Kurt) Garberich; four grandchildren; and one brother: Morrie (and Helen) Scheeler of Coon Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 2003, one grandson, one brother and two sisters.
