HANLEY FALLS -- Elmer A. Anderson, 91, of Granite Falls, formerly of Hanley Falls, died Tuesday at the Granite Falls Hospital.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church in Hanley Falls. Burial will be at East Yellow Medicine Lutheran Cemetery in Hanley Falls.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Lynner Funeral Home in Clarkfield.
He was born Dec. 15, 1914, in Normania Township, Yellow Medicine County, to Martin and Charlotte (Albin) Anderson.

He married Anna Anderson on Dec. 15, 1939, in Hazel Run. He was in the CC's and drove a tour bus in the 1930s. He worked as a mechanic at the Ford garage in Pine City in the early 1940s. They returned to Hanley Falls and farmed. He was a bartender in the 1960s, and was a custodian at the Cottonwood and Hanley Falls schools. They moved to Granite Falls Manor.
He was a member of the Hanley Falls School Board and the Normania Township Board.
He is survived by his wife; sons: Allen (and Dee) of Hanley Falls, Robert (and Sharon) of Hammond, Ind., Donald (and LoyAnn) of Delano, Douglas (and Barb) of Portland, Ore.; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
