WILLMAR -- Elmer Gerrit Blom, 81, of Willmar, formerly of Raymond, died Monday at Infinia Health Care Center in Willmar.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Raymond.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
He was born Feb. 16, 1925, in Edgerton to Gerrit and Emma (Van Houtan) Blom. He grew up and attended school in Prinsburg.

He married Vivian R. Kamstra on Sept. 29, 1950, in Raymond. They lived and farmed in the Raymond community for many years. They later moved to Willmar and he moved to Infinia Health Care Center four years ago.
He is survived by his wife; children: Larry (and Norma) Blom of Raymond, Susan (and Jonathan) Anderson of Roseville; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Gertrude Harms of Montevideo and Helen Miersma of Pipestone.
He was preceded in death by two sons: Douglas and Myron; three brothers and one sister.
