DAWSON -- Elmer Theodore "Bob" Wieking, 73, of Dawson died Sunday at his home.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Hanson & Dahl Funeral Home Chapel in Dawson.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Thursday at the chapel.
He was born April 21, 1934, to Henry and Peterka (Drost) Wieking in Rock County near Luverne.

He married Duaine Mattson from Willmar in 1956. He was self employed as a tree trimmer. He moved from Renville to Dawson in July of 2005.
He is survived by his children: Cindy McKeown of Burnsville, Kris Mickels of Eagan, Mike Wieking of Faribault, Rod (and Cheryl) Wieking of rural Dawson, Jeff (and Sharin) Wieking of Farmington and Birch Johnson Wieking of Granite Falls; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one brother: Vernon (and Dona) Wieking of Willmar.
He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
