WILLMAR -- Elsie Martha Nelson, 96, of Willmar died Friday at Bethesda Pleasantview in Willmar.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Lutheran Church Chapel in Willmar. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Willmar.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Peterson Brothers Funeral Home of Willmar is handling arrangements.

She was born Oct. 10, 1909 in Lake Lillian to John and Helena (Stamer) Meyer. She received her education in country schools and graduated from Bird Island High School in 1927. She worked as a waitress and in other various jobs. She moved to Willmar in 1936.
She married Joseph Nelson on March 17, 1940, and they lived in Willmar. She worked as a homemaker since her daughter's birth in 1942.
She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her daughter: Sharon Nelson of Willmar; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1972, two brothers and two sisters.
