Gina Marie Carlson and William Patrick Wheeler are engaged to be married Aug. 23 at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Spicer.
Carlson is the daughter of Jack and Diane Carlson of Litchfield.
She is a 2007 graduate of Litchfield High School. She is employed by Hicks Bus and Truck in Litchfield.
Wheeler is the son of Patrick and Elizebeth Wheeler of Atwater. He is a 2007 graduate of Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City High School in Grove City. He is in the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C.
