Jennifer Hoogeveen of Paynesville and John Boon of Morris are engaged to be married Dec. 1 at the Bethany Reformed Church in Clara City.
Hoogeveen is the daughter of Daryl and Bonnie Hoogeveen of Raymond.
She is a 1998 graduate of Central Minnesota Chris-tian School in Prinsburg and a 2002 graduate of Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, with a degree in psychology. She is employed by Stevens County Ambulance as a registered paramedic, and she is a Creative Memories consultant.
Boon is the son of Don and Carol Boon of Hancock.
He is a 1991 graduate of Hancock Public School and a 1994 graduate of North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton with a degree in diesel technology.
