Katherine Lauer of Spicer and Robert Pomerleau of Arden Hills are engaged to be married Oct. 18 at St. John's Abbey in Collegeville.
Lauer is the daughter of Dale and Judi Lauer of Spicer.
She is a graduate of the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph. She is employed as a registered nurse by St. Cloud Hospital.
Pomerleau is the son of Gary and Charlene Pomerleau of Arden Hills.
He is a graduate of St. John's University in Collegeville. He is employed as a business analyst by Land O'Lakes.
