Greta Loen and Sean Evenson, both of Fargo, N.D., are engaged to be married Dec. 22 at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Benson.
Loen is the daughter of Steve and Susan Loen of Benson.
She is a 2000 graduate of Benson High School and a 2004 graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead with a degree in English education.
She is employed as a secondary English teacher at Fargo South and North High Schools in Fargo.
Evenson is the son of Charles and Janice Evenson of Benson.

He is a 2000 graduate of Benson High School and a 2006 graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter with a degree in chemistry. He is pursuing a doctorate in chemistry at North Dakota State University in Fargo.
