Katie Magnuson and Brian Ferris, both of Osakis, are engaged to be married Jan. 5 at Willmar Assembly of God.
Magnuson is the daughter of Jerry and NancyMagnuson of Pennock.
She is a 2002 graduate of Willmar Senior High School and a 2006 graduate of Minnesota State University-Moorhead with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She is employed as a family education specialist in Osakis, working as a Head Start preschool teacher.
Ferris is the son of Bruce and Connie Ferris of Osakis.
He is a 2000 graduate of Osakis High School and a 2004 graduate of Minnesota State University-Moorhead with degrees in business administration and marketing. He is employed in drafting, sales and management by United Building Center in Osakis.
