Valerie Miklos and Corey Aker are engaged to be married Sept. 6 at Maynard Lutheran Church in Maynard.
Miklos is the daughter of Tim and Karen Miklos of Selby, S.D.
She is a 2001 graduate of Selby Area High School and a 2004 graduate of Ridgewater College in Willmar with a degree in human services. She is employed by Woodland Centers of Willmar.
Aker is the son of Jeff and Brenda Aker of Maynard.
He attended MACCRAY High School in Clara City. He is employed by JD Transport as a truck driver.
