Carrie Slagter and Michael Dragt are engaged to be married Dec. 29 at the Roseland Reformed Church in Roseland.
Slagter is the daughter of Terry and Darla Slagter of Roseland.
She is a 2006 graduate of Renville County West High School in Renville. She is a sophomore at Jamestown College in Jamestown, N.D., where she is pursuing a nursing degree.
Dragt is the son of Gary and Jeannie Dragt of Roseland.
He is a 2005 graduate of Renville County West High School and expects to graduate from college in December. He is currently serving with the United States Marine Corps in San Diego, Calif.
