Michelle Weiland and Wade Solberg, both of Spicer, are engaged to be married June 7 at the home of the groom's parents on the shores of Norway Lake.
Weiland is the daughter of Robert and Lisa Weiland of Cologne.
She is a 2002 graduate of Waconia High School. She is employed as a line-cook and server by Applebee's in Willmar.
Solberg is the son of Mark and Rebecca Solberg of New London.
He is a 2002 graduate of New London-Spicer High School in New London and a 2004 graduate of Alexandria Technical College with a degree in carpentry. He is employed as Lakeland Nursery's carpenter.
