WILLMAR -- A celebration is planned from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday to honor the selection of the building owned by Engan and Associates of Willmar to the National Register of Historic Places.
The building is the former home of the West Central Tribune and is located at 311 Fourth St. S.W.
The public is invited to tour the building, and the Becker Market Café will be serving food and beverages. Becker Avenue will be closed for the celebration.
At 7 p.m., the public is invited to attend a meeting in the lower level of Bethel Lutheran Church to learn about the Willmar Design Center's strategic action plan for downtown improvements.
