WILLMAR -- Kids from ages 8 to 15 can now apply for the annual Enterprizing Kids event, which is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 16 and 17 at the Kandi Mall in Willmar.
Kids are invited to have the chance to see what it is like to run their own business for a day.
The program is a great way for students to use their creative skills while learning how to successfully manage a business, according to a news release from Kandi Mall Marketing Director Desiree Weinandt.
The event also coincides with the annual MEA break from school. Youth from Kandiyohi, Renville, Yellow Medicine East, Swift, Chip-pewa and Redwood counties may apply.
Entry forms are available at the mall management office during business hours and online at www.shopsatkandi.com . The application deadline is Oct. 2. The event is sponsored by the Kandi Mall, Q102 and the West Central Tribune.
