GRANITE FALLS -- Ervin C. Munsch, 94, of Granite Falls, formerly of Wood Lake, died Friday at the Granite Falls Manor.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Wood Lake. Burial will be at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
Arrangements are with The Redwood Valley Funeral Home.
He was born July 8, 1913, in Underwood Township, Redwood County to Nicholaus and Pauline (Klein) Munsch. He attended country school in rural Wood Lake and he attended barber school in Minneapolis.

He married Alice Schrupp Sept. 24, 1939, in Wood Lake. He was a barber in Wood Lake for more than 60 years.
He was a member of St. John's Church where he served on their council for 22 years and also served as an elder and financial secretary. He was also on the school board for the St. John's Parochial School for several years and was a member of the Wood Lake Commercial Club.
He is survived by his wife; children: David (and Rosie) Munsch of Poway, Calif., Kathleen (and John) Bruce of Britton, S.D., Charlie (and Kathleen) Munsch of Alexandria and Jeffrey (and Kathy) Munsch of Renville; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, five sisters and one grandson.
